WALKING ON THE MOON

I've been spending a lot of time lately walking on surfaces*.  

*Flat, pale, seemingly lifeless but endless surfaces.


There is no difference between the hard snow of new york in mid-winter and the rocky soil of the southwest in the middle of summer.  They both make me feel like I'm walking on the moon.

THE MANY DOORS OF SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

I have a thing about doorways. There are thousands of images taken all over the world sitting in binders of negatives and backup drives of digitized and ordered pix by place and time. 

They are always shot from outside. Does that mean I want to see what is inside or that I'm waiting to see who will come out?  And maybe I'm not waiting at all.
